Project Overview

This project in Abbotsford, BC, focused on the critical soil stabilization and structural support required for a new elevator pit. Precision is paramount in elevator installations to prevent shifting or settlement that could impact the mechanical operation of the system.

Our team implemented a dual-stage injection strategy to ensure long-term stability. Initially, we applied high-density structural polyfoam to stabilize the soil and fill voids beneath the pit area prior to the elevator's installation. This provided a consolidated foundation for the initial construction phase.

Following the elevator installation, we performed secondary high-density gel injections to further reinforce the structural integrity and provide a finished, secure base. This proactive stabilization approach ensures the longevity of the equipment and the surrounding architecture.
