Boston Bar Water Tank Restoration
Project Overview
Located in the remote wilderness of Boston Bar, BC, this 500,000-liter concrete water tank is a critical piece of infrastructure for the local community.
The structure was suffering from significant cracking and water loss, threatening its integrity and the water supply. Our team was tasked with a comprehensive restoration to extend its service life.
The project involved seeking out and sealing all active leaks using high-pressure polyurethane injection. We prepared the interior surfaces by grinding and cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion.
We applied NSF-61 certified repair materials, safe for potable water contact, to resurface the damaged concrete. The result is a watertight, durable tank that will serve the community for years to come.
This project highlights our ability to execute complex concrete restoration work in remote, challenging environments while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
